Feature: Canaries of the Year

Game of the Year: Bastion

I think what won me over finally was the combination of strong core mechanics, the innovation of the narrator, and just overall great production values between the art design, music, and voice acting. This game truly brought back the magic of childhood favorites like The Secret of Mana and A Link to the Past. No other game this year can say that.

Congratulations to all the winners, and here’s to a great 2012!
